How often do I renew my Texas structural pest control license?

Annually. Certified applicator and technician licenses issued by the TDA Structural Pest Control Service renew every year, and your CE must be earned during the calendar year before the year you renew.

How many CEUs do certified applicators need?

1 CEU in each category in which you are certified plus 2 CEUs in general training each year, with at least one general credit in federal and state laws, pesticide safety, environmental protection, or integrated pest management.

What is the technician training requirement?

Licensed technicians must complete 8 hours of verifiable training each calendar year. Our Technician 8-Hour Bundle - all eight 1-CEU classes - is built to satisfy it.

When do the structural CEU classes launch?

Fall 2026. Each class is being filed with TDA as its own standalone 1-CEU course, and enrollment opens once course numbers are issued. Join the notify list on the course page to hear the day they go live.
