Pesticide Applicator CEUs in Lubbock, TX
Lubbock sits at the center of the South Plains, one of the largest cotton-growing regions in the world. Custom applicators, aerial operators, co-op crews, and farm employees spray millions of acres of cotton, sorghum, and peanuts across the Llano Estacado every season — and every Texas Department of Agriculture applicator license behind that work renews each year with 5 CEUs. If you've been looking for a Lubbock pesticide CEU class, our online TDA-approved course covers all 5 CEUs, including laws and regulations, IPM, and drift minimization, without waiting for the next in-person session.

Is there a Lubbock-specific pesticide CEU requirement?
No. Pesticide applicator CEUs are set statewide by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Commercial, noncommercial, and NCPS applicators across Lubbock County and the South Plains need the same 5 CEUs per 12-month licensing period as applicators anywhere in Texas.
Does the course cover drift minimization for cotton country?
Yes. A full module covers drift minimization: droplet size, nozzle selection, wind and temperature inversions, buffers, and the label's drift directions. Together with the IPM module it satisfies TDA's IPM-or-drift CEU requirement.
Can I earn my pesticide CEUs online instead of at an in-person session?
Yes. This course is TDA-approved (course #1000983) and delivered online. One caveat: TDA limits how often self-study and correspondence CEUs can be used to recertify, so online CEUs may not be usable in consecutive years for every license type. Check your license status with TDA before relying on an online course two years running.
Is this course approved by TDLR?
No, and it doesn't need to be. Pesticide applicator licensing in Texas is handled by the Texas Department of Agriculture, not TDLR. We report your completion to TDA for you.
